Designed by HULGER and Bertrand Clerc

World's First Energy Saving Designer Bulb


It all began from nature's most authentic shapes, combined with traits from the 001 lightbulb: introducing Plumen 002. This design, set apart by its sculpted shape yet inspired by soft and fleeting water drops, won the ELLE Decoration British Design Award in 2014. Thanks to the warm lighting it's perfect for creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere in any space or environment. Plumen 001 best adapts as a table lamp, applique or suspension lamp, even in series. Compatible with any LED dimmer* switch, this lightbulb allows the user to control lighting based on their preferences.

 

 

20,000 hours life expectancy

*Dimming an energy-saving bulb is very different to dimming an incandescent bulb. As a result there is no way to guarantee compatibility with specific dimmers and bulbs without testing them. 

Dimmable Plumen bulbs should work with most trailing-edge dimmers & dimmers that state they are compatible with LEDs.


Some dimmers have a minimum load to function correctly, meaning that multiple bulbs connected to one dimmer will have better performance than a single bulb.

If your dimmer switch is more than 10 years old, it is unlikely to be compatible with any energy saving bulb due to changes in the way dimmer switches work.
